Beaches
While looking for extra quotes on my presentation author, Rachel Carson, I found one that I related to the most over the others: "In every outthrust headland, in every curving beach, in every grain of sand there is the story of the earth." I find that I share this thought with her because it is more than true. I tend to relate it more to humans, though. Every time I see a picture of a formerly historic spot, I think of and picture the historical aspect of it. For example, when I see a picture of modern day beaches of Normandy, I picture the extremely vast military presence and destruction of the earth that once devastated them.
